About
Amber Otto aka “Cookie”, is a singer/ self-taught songwriter from Spring Creek Pennsylvania that currently resides in Erie Pennsylvania. She began singing at the tender age of 5, and has continued her passions with music ever since.
She has performed in various regional talent showcases/contests, cover and songwriting bands and has also gotten opportunities to open for famous acts such as Aaron Tippin, Lil' Scrappy, Kool and the Gang, and Jennifer Stills (daughter of Steven Stills from Crosby, Still and Nash). She has also showcased her vocal talent by singing our country's national anthem at venues such as Monster Jam, Penn State University (main), and NASCAR.
She has also lent her voice to notable venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville Tennessee, the Lafayette Tap Room of Buffalo NY, Times Square (Project Dance), The Blues and Jazz Festival of Erie, The Blue Heron Festival, the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, and Presque Isle Downs and Casino.
In August 2022 she was selected as a contender in the songwriting competition “The Opening Act” for the opportunity to open for the Hollywood Bowl, in which she surpassed four rounds of the contest. She was also selected to participate in the Masterpiece Sound Cover Song Contest as one of 78 contestants selected out of 300 to move forward in the competition.
In April 2024 Cookie entered the Jason Heberle Heartstrings open mic competition and won the votes of the crowd by performing an original song “Born to Ride” which earned her “The most passionate” songwriting prize. To see more about this competition visit
Within more recent years Cookie has tried her hand at recording and producing her own music. At least four of her original songs were ranked number one and two on N1m music charts for local country music. On ReverbNation she has also held the number one and two slots for regional and local country music.
Her latest single "The Loss of You," was written on behalf of professional bull rider Mason Lowe per his family’s request.
